Alissa Puntel, LCSW, is a dedicated therapist with over a decade of experience in healthcare, specializing in chronic insomnia, grief, loss, and end-of-life trauma. Passionate about supporting individuals through life's challenges, she takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring evidence-based techniques to each person’s unique needs.

She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Throughout her career, Alissa has worked with adults across all life stages, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and perinatal mood disorders.

As a mother and military spouse, she has a deep commitment to maternal mental health, as well as supporting military and first responders. Alissa incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT-I, and client-centered approaches to empower clients in building resilience, improving daily functioning, and fostering personal growth. She is also EMDR Trained and has obtained her Certified First Responder Counselor Certification.
